Kerry Nicolls – Team KLN Raises $12,000 for LGH Cancer Walk

photo10

Kerry Nicolls, a top producing agent from RE/MAX Prestige of  Pelham, NH organized Team KLN, a group of over 50 members, to walk in the recent Lowell General Hospital Team Cares Cancer Walk.  The walk took place on May 20th as thousands of people descended upon the streets of Lowell to participate in a 3 or 6 mile walk through the city.  After the event there was plenty of food, live music, and vendor booths featuring companies from all over the Merrimack Valley.  This year, Kerry’s team organized $12,000, an amazing feet amidst a challenging market.  I asked Kerry if she organized this walk (now her 12th year doing so) to memorialize anyone in particular.  To that, Kerry pointed out that everyone is affected by cancer so it is not intended as a tribute to just one person. Two close family members to Nicolls were just recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and although both women are on the road to recovery, Kerry said, “The money we raise goes towards finding a cure, and I just want to do my small part.”  Raising $12,000 is much more than just a small contribution, and we are proud of Kerry for her ongoing efforts to give back not only to the buyers and sellers of real estate who are lucky to work with such an esteemed agent, but also to the millions of people affected by this undiscerning disease.
