PELHAM, NH – From 9am-2pm on Saturday, June 2nd, St. Patrick’s School in Pelham is going to be hosing its tenth annual 5K road race and family fun day to benefit the school.

“It’s great to come together with the community to share some fun family time!” Claims Donna Caouette, a RE/MAX Prestige agent who is helping to run the event. Donna will also be running the craft fair, which is aimed to entertain the younger crowd. There will also be a rubber duck race, music, and plenty of diverse food for everyone in your family!

Last year, the event raised over $12,000 for the St. Patrick’s School, and they aim to surpass that mark this year. RE/MAX Prestige is assisting the runners of the 5K by helping to pay for the shirts and socks that each runner receives. LOWELL, MA – On May 5^th, Community Christian Academy (CCA) in Lowell hosted their third annual 5K River Run and Family Fun Day.  People from all over the Lowell area are welcome to participate in the event, which benefits and takes place at the academy, and to participate in both the USATF-certified run and the family and following food festival.

Last year, RE/MAX Prestige donated $500, sported the company’s PT Cruiser, and – of course – handed out plenty of RE/MAX balloons, along with being represented by agent Shirley Cunico at the Brazilian barbeque stand at the family fun day after the run.

METHUEN, MA – On April 14^th, the Dan Ford Foundation orchestrated the fourth annual Dan Ford Race, consisting of a 5K road race beginning at the Fireside Restaurant & Pub in Methuen.  Over the entirety of the events, the USATF-certified race has raised between $25,000 and $30,000 to fund scholarships, donations to the Massachusetts General Hospital Pediatric Oncology Fund, and assistance to individual families dealing with a loved one with cancer.

“RE/MAX Prestige was and has always been an integral part of the process,” said Malcolm Fulford, President of the Dan Ford Foundation and RE/MAX Prestige agent.  Malcolm even stated that he originally got the idea for the road race – which was founded in name of a close friend of his – from another RE/MAX agent at a regional conference.  In addition to that, fellow RE/MAX Prestige agent Tom Courtney assisted Malcolm in accountability when he was first launching the foundation and road race.  RE/MAX Prestige also contributed to donating water bottles to the runners.

RE/MAX Prestige owners Andrew Armata and Stacey Alcorn making an intial $25,000 donation to forge long term partnership with Habitat for Humanity

Westford, MA  April 19, 2012—A multi-year agreement forged in Westford today links more than 300 agents in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with Habitat for Humanity’s goal to end poverty housing.

The partnership includes plans for groundbreaking efforts in Greater Lowell, Worcester and Springfield building homes and community throughout the territory served by RE/MAX Prestige.

A project will also be selected to bring leaders of both organizations together to highlight the partnership and to participate directly in the building of Habitat homes.  Agents and their teams will also be actively involved in the project through the sponsorship of Team Building Days on the home sites.

RE/MAX Prestige Brokers and agents have also individually pledged to contribute a portion of their commission to Habitat for Humanity to fund the construction of simple, decent, affordable homes.

RE/MAX Prestige Co-Owners Stacey Alcorn and Andy Armata, and Dan Bush, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell’s Director of Development formally recognized the agreement following a special presentation to the RE/MAX Prestige agents during their annual sales meeting.

This partnership with RE/MAX Prestige will go a long way in helping us achieve the goal of eliminating poverty housing in our area,” Bush said.

The winners will be determined based on who loses the largest % of their body weight…not by total pounds lost.

On the July 31st we will announce the 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winners.

First place – will receive 80% of the proceeds collected for the event

Second place – will receive 20% of the proceeds collected for the event
